Leather Lanyard Bracelet

A lanyard is a cord or strap worn around the neck, shoulder, or wrist to carry such items as keys or identification cards. The style, design or material used will vary depending on end-purpose of the lanyard. Lanyard materials include polyester, nylon, satin, silk, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), braided leather or braided paracord.

Requirements:
* Leather laces
* Chain
* Clasp
* Needle nose pliers/Scissors

1. Cut 2 strips of leather laces. Based on your wrist size you can cut them between 60 and 80 inches each. If you cut the strips too short then it will not fit your wrist properly. So try to have lengthy strips, once you finish designing the bracelet you can cut off the extra length.

2. Find the middle of your first strip and circle it twice around your finger. Then slide the middle of your second strip under the loop and bring one side over & beneath. Repeat the same with the other side. Take your finger out and tighten the knots.
3. Making the first and last loop is considered to be the most difficult. Once you are done with that tighten it to the maximum you can.

4. To make the end knot stay stronger you can leave your last stitch as it is without tighten it up. So now you can loop around each lace with your nearest loop via the center. Watch the video here for better understanding. Trim your leather ends as per your wish.

5. Open a link in the chain using the pliers; loop it through one or two of the loops at the end knot. Add extra chain if you want to lengthen the size.
